Why is stress relief so important?
When we face stressful situations, our bodies react to help protect us from perceived predators or danger - a normal reaction, known as the fight or flight response. However, often our busy day to day lives trigger this reaction and keep us in this state for prolonged periods. Working long hours, being busy with kids or rushing from one place to another without stopping to properly relax can take its toll on our mind and body.
Calming our minds and allowing ourselves to relax isn’t always easy and doesn’t come naturally for a lot of us. But with practice we can learn to manage stress and feel more at ease.
During this session, we will focus on specific stressors in your life to give you the most benefit possible. You’ll enjoy slipping into a deeply relaxing, blissful state - allowing tension in your mind and body to melt away - the equivalent of a massage for the mind. Leaving you relaxed, calm and positive.
This session will take place over Zoom, allowing you to set up your surroundings to best suit you.
